At Bono Group we recognize the need to add value to society, through our host communities and other selected communities to make a meaningful impact and sustainable social investments globally. Currently, our CSR focus is to raise the standard of education in Nigeria and Africa. We believe that by improving the standard of education in all our host communities, the country, and the continent at large, we are improving the standard of living of her citizens and boosting her economy. This is why we take corporate social responsibility very seriously.

We are passionate about education, and we have made it the focal point of our corporate social responsibility activities. We are the main sponsors for Educare Trust, a Non-Governmental Organization NGO that promotes education, health, good governance, and leadership in Nigeria. Our contributions to this NGO have significantly improved their operations and impact. Through our committed support, they have;

1. Developed policy briefs for the Oyo State Ministry of Education
2. Collaborated with UNICEF to design the situation analysis for women and children in Oyo state
3. Provided food palliatives to juvenile homes, orphanages, etcetera
4. Donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the African Centre Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases, Redeemers University, during the first wave of the covid-19 pandemic.
5. Engaged public secondary school students on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

 
Bono Group is also the part sponsor for the Jigawa Literacy4prosperity Program. Our vision is to have an educational program in each geopolitical zones of the federation.
